
Join the 29th Annual 5K Walk to Support Domestic Violence Survivors
Registration is open for Shelter’s Right Hand’s 29th Annual “Stepping Out Against Domestic Violence” 5K Walk on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This event benefits the Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter, providing vital support to survivors.
Hundreds of community members will come together to raise awareness and honor victims. This year’s walk will feature Honorary Chairperson Steve Cauffman, President of the Whittier Host Lions Club.
📍 Event Schedule:
- 6:30 AM – Sign-in & same-day registration
- 7:30 AM – Welcome ceremony & warm-up
- 8:00 AM – Walk begins at 6532 Friends Ave. & Bailey St.
Registration Fees:
- $20 for students
- $35 for adults (before April 11)
- $40 after April 11 through walk day
Participants who register by April 26 will receive a t-shirt, and the first 600 finishers will earn a medal.
