Flock cameras help law enforcement prevent crime and investigate crimes that have already occurred.

When a Flock camera reads a license plate, it checks the plate against databases for stolen vehicles, wanted vehicles, and vehicles associated with AMBER Alerts or missing individuals. If there is a match, our dispatchers will conduct a verification of the information, and after confirmation, officers are notified and can respond to the area. Finding stolen or wanted vehicles quickly may also help prevent additional crimes like thefts, burglaries, robberies, drug sales, and shootings.

Flock cameras also help detectives investigate crimes. Detectives can search Flock camera data to determine when and where a vehicle connected to a crime was seen. Information about vehicles involved in crimes can also be shared through the system, helping law enforcement agencies locate vehicles and suspects in other areas.

September 2, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Assault Suspect
Officers responded to a call for service regarding a verbal altercation that escalated to the suspect hitting the victim with their vehicle and fleeing the scene. Officers entered the vehicle into the Flock Alert system. Within a few hours, LASD was alerted by FLOCK of the vehicle in their area and conducted a high-risk traffic stop of the vehicle. WPD Officers responded to the scene to take custody of the assault suspect.

September 1, 2026 - Flock Alert Assists with Identifying Grand Theft Suspects
Flock alerted officers of a felony vehicle containing grand theft suspects from a neighboring agency's jurisdiction.  The felony vehicle was located, and after a high-risk stop, the occupants were detained. Per the neighboring agency's request, WPD Officers identified and documented the occupants of the vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing.

 

August 22, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Robbery Suspects
Flock alerted officers of a felony vehicle containing dangerous robbery suspects.  The felony vehicle was located, and after a high-risk stop, the occupants were detained.  LAPD Officers responded to take custody of the vehicle and the arrestee.

August 20, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Recovered Stolen Motorcycle and Narcotics Arrest
Officers received a Flock alert of a stolen motorcycle, at which time an officer spots the motorcycle and detains the rider. Investigation resulted in a male suspect arrested for motorcycle theft and possession of narcotics.

August 19, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Recovered Stolen Vehicle and Suspect in Custody
A stolen vehicle was detected through Flock. An officer located the vehicle, and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted. The driver was arrested without incident.

August 18, 2026 - Flock Cameras Assist with Catalytic Converter Theft and Assault Investigation
Officers responded to a call for service regarding subjects attempting to steal catalytic converters from parked vehicles. The victim saw 3 suspects carrying tools and confronted the suspects.  A 'lookout' vehicle drove towards the victim causing him to jump out of the way to avoid being struck. Utilizing Flock cameras, detectives identified the vehicle as a white SUV. On August 20, 2026, LAPD located the vehicle, and it was subsequently towed as evidence.

August 17, 2026 - Flock Cameras Assist with Locating Critical Missing Person
The reporting party came to the police department lobby to report their family member missing. An officer utilized an emergent cell phone ping and FLOCK cameras to narrow down the location of the missing person to Baldwin Park. By coordinating with the Baldwin Park Police Department, the missing person was located and placed on a mental health evaluation.

August 14, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Recovered Stolen Vehicle and Suspect in Custody
A stolen vehicle was detected through Flock. An officer located the vehicle, and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted. The driver was arrested without incident.

August 14, 2026 - Flock Alert Leads to Recovery of Stolen Vehicle
A stolen vehicle was detected through Flock, at which time an officer observed the vehicle parked. Due to the positioning of the vehicle, a drone was utilized to visually check the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied. An adjacent secured business lot was also searched with the drone for any possible suspects from the stolen vehicle. No suspects were located. Vehicle released to the registered owner. 

August 6, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Two Arrests and Ghost Gun Recovery
A Flock alert helped officers locate the vehicle and conduct a high-risk stop, resulting in the detention of two suspects. During the investigation, officers recovered a loaded ghost gun and an illegal high-capacity magazine. Both suspects were arrested on charges including vehicle theft, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a large-capacity magazine, and possession of a non-serialized firearm.

August 6, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Weapons and Burglary-Tool Arrest
A Flock alert on a motorcycle helped officers locate and detain the suspect. A subsequent search recovered a concealed dirk/dagger, ammunition, and burglary tools. The suspect was arrested on charges including vehicle theft, prohibited possession of ammunition, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, and possession of burglary tools.

 

July 26, 2026 — Flock Helps Identify Suspect Vehicle Following Robbery
Following a robbery at an ARCO, a clerk obtained the suspect vehicle description and license plate, which were entered into Flock. An officer subsequently located the vehicle and conducted a felony stop, detaining four people. Detectives used video evidence to arrest a juvenile suspect for the robbery, while another occupant was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

July 19, 2026 — Flock Alert Locates Felony Vehicle
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle. Another law-enforcement agency located and stopped the vehicle, after which Whittier officers took custody of the suspect and impounded a Dodge Charger as evidence. 

July 16, 2026 — Flock Helps Identify Suspect Vehicle in Robbery Series
Following a robbery at a 7-Eleven, detectives used Flock to identify a suspect vehicle. From this identification, detectives were able to link the vehicle and its driver to a series of robberies in Whittier and Long Beach. An alert was placed on the vehicle. Long Beach PD located the vehicle and arrested the suspect for the robberies.

July 10, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle and Narcotics Arrest
A stolen vehicle generated a Flock alert. Officers located the vehicle parked and detained its occupants. The driver was wanted by another agency for narcotics and was also found in possession of narcotics. 

July 10, 2026 — Flock Helps Identify Felony Vandalism Suspect
During a felony vehicle-vandalism investigation, detectives used Flock to track the suspect vehicle's path and obtain its license plate. The information helped investigators identify the suspect. Detectives subsequently located and arrested the suspect.

July 8, 2026 — Flock-Assisted Stop Uncovers Second Stolen Vehicle
Officers located a felony vehicle wanted by LAPD and observed a suspect abandon a work van before entering the wanted vehicle. A coordinated high-risk stop resulted in two arrests. Officers subsequently determined that the abandoned work van was also stolen. Charges included vehicle theft, and one suspect had a no-bail warrant.

July 8, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Domestic-Violence Arrest
A vehicle associated with a domestic-violence suspect generated a Flock alert. Detectives located the vehicle, established surveillance, and conducted a high-risk stop when the suspect returned. The suspect was arrested for domestic violence.

June 27, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit in Burglary Investigation
A Flock alert identified a vehicle wanted in connection with a burglary investigation. The vehicle was subsequently involved in a hit-and-run. Officers located it and initiated a pursuit, after which the suspect abandoned the vehicle in a parking garage and escaped containment. Fixed surveillance cameras produced an image of the fleeing suspect for investigators. The investigation is ongoing.

June 25, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Felony Vandalism Arrest
Detectives identified a felony-vandalism suspect and entered the suspect vehicle into Flock. When Flock alerted detectives that the vehicle had returned to the area, officers located it and arrested the suspect.

June 8, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert helped officers locate a stolen vehicle as it entered the freeway. Officers followed until traffic conditions permitted a safe high-risk stop. The driver was arrested without incident for vehicle theft.

May 30, 2026 — Flock Alert Results in Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a confirmed stolen vehicle. Officers located it and, with aerial assistance and sufficient units in position, conducted a high-risk stop. The driver was arrested without incident for vehicle theft.

May 30, 2026 — Flock Assists in Assault by Vehicle Investigation
A suspect allegedly intentionally drove into a perimeter fence after becoming agitated with security personnel. Investigators checked Flock cameras and identified a vehicle. This investigation is ongoing.

May 27, 2026 — Flock Identifies Vehicle Following Strong-Arm Robbery
A suspect forcibly removed a necklace from a victim and fled in a vehicle. A Flock inquiry helped investigators identify the suspect vehicle and provided its California license plate, generating an investigative lead. The investigation is ongoing.

May 25, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit and Three Apprehensions
A Flock alert identified a confirmed stolen vehicle. When officers attempted a felony stop, the driver fled, beginning a pursuit that ended when the vehicle crashed. Two occupants fled on foot, but all three were ultimately apprehended. Charges included vehicle theft, felony evading, hit-and-run, and resisting/obstructing officers.

May 23, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located and followed it until sufficient units were available for a coordinated high-risk stop. The driver was arrested without incident.

May 20, 2026 — Flock Helps Locate Robbery Suspect
Officers located a vehicle associated with a robbery investigation and established surveillance. When the vehicle departed, officers conducted a felony stop and detained two occupants. The primary robbery/assault suspect was taken into custody, and the investigating agency assumed the case.

May 17, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Recovery
Flock detected a stolen vehicle and generated an alert. Officers subsequently located and followed the vehicle until the driver could be safely taken into custody. The stolen vehicle was recovered and returned to its owner.

May 16, 2026 — Flock-Assisted Stolen Vehicle Case Leads to Apprehension
Officers located a recently stolen vehicle following a Flock-related alert. An attempted traffic stop developed into a slow-speed pursuit, collision, foot pursuit, and containment. Officers ultimately apprehended the juvenile driver.

May 12, 2026 — Flock Helps Identify Package-Theft Suspects
A suspect stole Amazon packages and fled in a black truck. Investigators located the vehicle using Flock, leading officers to conduct follow-up that connected an additional stolen package to the investigation. Suspects were arrested for theft-related offenses, including petty theft.

May 8, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock notification identified a stolen vehicle. When an officer attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle made an evasive maneuver and its occupants fled on foot. Both were detained. The driver was arrested, while the passenger was identified and released.

April 27, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, established containment with aerial assistance, and arrested the driver without incident for vehicle theft.

April 9, 2026 — Flock Helps Identify Vehicle in Robbery Investigation
Four suspects confronted a victim, with one swinging a knife before the group stole a backpack containing a Chromebook. Investigators used Flock to identify the suspect vehicle. An officer later located it and conducted a high-risk stop. The victim identified the vehicle, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

April 7, 2026 — Flock-Assisted Stop Leads to Two Arrests
Officers located a vehicle identified through Flock and coordinated a high-risk stop. Two suspects were arrested in connection with a commercial burglary and stolen vehicle. Charges included commercial burglary and vehicle theft.

March 31, 2026 — Flock Identifies Robbery Suspect 
An armed robbery occurred at 7-Eleven. Flock was used to identify the suspect vehicle which was stolen from another agency. Detectives used the leads in Flock to obtain a warrant for the driver’s arrest for robbery. The suspect was arrested without incident.

March 22, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest in Robbery Series
A robbery occurred at 7-Eleven. Detectives used Flock and located a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. Further investigation revealed this was the suspect vehicle, and the occupants were responsible for several robberies in the LA area. The suspects were arrested for robbery.

March 22, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit, Collision and DUI Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Before officers could conduct a high-risk stop, the driver fled, beginning a pursuit that ended when the vehicle struck a light pole. The driver was arrested without incident for the pursuit, vehicle theft, and DUI.

March 6, 2026 — Flock Identifies Suspect Vehicle in Multiple Thefts
Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the first week of March. Detectives identified a suspect vehicle through Flock. After more investigation, detectives arrested the registered owner for three separate thefts.

February 5, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Firearm Recovery
Officers responded to a Flock alert and located the vehicle abandoned. A search of the vehicle recovered a firearm and information identifying a potential suspect, providing evidence and investigative leads for follow-up.

January 26, 2026 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit and Juvenile Detention
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a pursuit, which was terminated after the driver ran a red light at approximately 65 mph. Four masked occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled. Approximately an hour later, officers detained a 15-year-old suspect identified as one of the occupants and found in possession of a ski mask. The stolen vehicle was impounded as evidence.

December 18, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. With aerial assistance, officers tracked and located it, contacted two suspects, and arrested the driver for vehicle theft. The vehicle was recovered and returned to its owner.

December 16, 2025 — Flock Assists Cargo-Theft Investigation
A cargo-monitoring company reported an alarm and GPS movement involving a tractor-trailer. A Flock check showed the truck traveling through the area shortly after the call. The driver later reported the tractor-trailer stolen, providing investigators with vehicle movement information.

November 29, 2025 — Flock Alerts Lead to Carjacking Pursuit and Arrest
Following a carjacking, Flock produced alerts showing the stolen vehicle traveling through the city. Officers located it and initiated a pursuit that continued through multiple jurisdictions before terminating it due to high speeds. The suspects eventually abandoned the vehicle and fled. Officers established a containment, arrested one suspect, and recovered the vehicle.

November 4, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest.
A Flock notification identified a wanted vehicle. Officers located it and conducted a high-risk stop. A suspect was arrested for vehicle theft with additional charges for controlled-substance possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

October 29, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle and Foot-Pursuit Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen tow-service vehicle. The suspect fled from the vehicle on foot but was subsequently located on the second floor of a nearby apartment building. The suspect was arrested for vehicle theft and resisting/obstructing officers.

October 28, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Attempted Homicide Suspect
A male was stabbed after a road rage incident. Using Flock, detectives identified a suspect vehicle. Detectives were able to track the vehicles’ progress through Flock and locate the vehicle parked in a local shopping center. The suspect was arrested for attempted homicide. 

October 21, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to GTA and Foot-Pursuit Arrest
A Flock stolen-vehicle notification helped officers locate the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot and was later discovered hiding behind a trash can. The suspect was arrested on charges including resisting arrest, narcotics possession and no bail warrant.

October 14, 2025 — Flock Tracks Vehicle Following Assault with a Firearm
A suspect allegedly pointed a silver revolver at victims and struck their vehicle window. The victims provided a license plate, and Flock subsequently showed the suspect vehicle traveling through the area providing an investigative lead. 

September 25, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Felony Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle. Officers located it and took the suspect into custody, after which LAPD assumed custody. The listed underlying offense was extortion.

September 17, 2025 — Flock Alert Locates Stolen Cargo Trailer
A Flock alert identified a stolen trailer reportedly containing approximately $143,000 in stolen wool socks. Officers stopped the trailer and found that the cargo was no longer inside. A suspect was arrested for receiving stolen property.

September 6, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Two Armed-Robbery Arrests
A Flock alert identified an armed-and-dangerous vehicle connected to an armed robbery. Officers located the vehicle and detained both occupants. Two suspects were arrested for robbery, with additional charges for controlled-substance possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

August 15, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert helped officers locate a wanted vehicle and take both occupants into custody. Both suspects were charged with vehicle theft, and one also had multiple outstanding warrants.

August 4, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Pursuit
Flock identified a stolen Ford truck traveling through the area. Officers located it and initiated a pursuit that continued through multiple jurisdictions toward Los Angeles before being canceled.

 July 30, 2025 — Flock Leads to Arrest of Robbery Suspect
A robbery occurred at the Dog Park. Detectives had a partial description of the suspect vehicle. Using Flock, they identified the suspect vehicle and license plate. Upon further investigation, the registered owner was arrested for robbery.

July 25, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock stolen-vehicle alert helped officers locate the vehicle and conduct a coordinated high-risk stop. The driver was arrested without incident.

July 10, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Felony Assault Suspect
A road rage incident occurred where a man pulled out a gun and pointed it at another driver. Officers immediately located his vehicle in Flock. A local alert was placed for the vehicle. Flock alerted on the vehicle and officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for assault with a deadly weapon.

July 9, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Recovery of Stolen Short-Barreled Rifle
A Flock alert helped officers locate a stolen vehicle. During the investigation, officers recovered a stolen short-barreled AR-15 and a loaded high-capacity magazine. Two suspects were arrested on charges including vehicle theft, prohibited firearm possession, possession of a short-barreled rifle, receiving stolen property, and possession of a large-capacity magazine.

July 6, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest
Following a Flock alert, officers monitored the vehicle until a suspect approached it with the keys. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with grand theft and forgery-related offenses.

July 5, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect
A suspect shot another suspect in the leg. Detectives used Flock to identify the suspect’s vehicle. An alert for the vehicle was placed in Flock. Flock alerted on the vehicle in San Bernardino. San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department stopped the vehicle. The driver was arrested for attempted homicide.

June 21, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrests and Hazmat Response
A Flock stolen-vehicle alert led officers to conduct a high-risk stop and make two arrests. A subsequent search located narcotics, a scale, and three barrels emitting a gas odor, prompting evacuations and a hazardous-materials response. The suspects were arrested for possession of narcotics and local warrants.

June 15, 2025 — Flock Identifies Suspect Vehicle in Assault on Officer
A female officer responded to civil unrest in front of the Double Tree hotel. She was stabbed in the hand by a flagpole wielded by a protester. Detectives used Flock to identify the suspect. The suspect was ultimately arrested and charged with felony assault on the officer.

June 15, 2025 — Flock Alert Locates Vehicle Connected to Carjacking Investigation
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle connected to an earlier domestic-battery and carjacking investigation. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver. 

June 8, 2025 — Flock Alert Locates Armed-and-Dangerous Felony Vehicle
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle associated with an armed-and-dangerous suspect. Officers conducted a high-risk stop, after which another law-enforcement agency assumed custody of the driver and vehicle.

June 7, 2025 — Flock Assists Domestic-Violence Investigation
During a domestic-violence and strangulation investigation, a Flock inquiry showed the suspect vehicle in the area shortly before the call. Officers later located and impounded the vehicle as evidence.

June 5, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock notification identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located it and conducted a high-risk stop. A suspect was arrested for grand theft of a vehicle.

June 5, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Assault Suspect
An argument broke out in CVS. As two patrons were leaving the store, the suspect tried to run them over in his vehicle. An alert was placed on the vehicle.  Downey PD stopped the vehicle after receiving the Flock alert and suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

May 15, 2025 — Flock Locates Armed-and-Dangerous Domestic-Violence Suspect
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle associated with a domestic-violence and firearm investigation. Officers located the vehicle and took the driver into custody. Charges included assault with a firearm, criminal threats, domestic violence.

May 13, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Felony Vehicle Detention
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle wanted by another law-enforcement agency. Officers conducted a high-risk stop and detained the sole occupant, who was transferred to the investigating agency.

May 9, 2025 — Flock Leads to Arrest of Road Rage Suspect
A road rage incident occurred where one driver tried to stab another. A Flock alert was placed on the suspect’s vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the suspect for assault with a deadly weapon.

April 24, 2025 — Flock Helps Identify Vehicle in Vandalism Investigation
Juvenile suspects vandalized an activity center and nearby property. A Flock camera captured the suspect vehicle and helped investigators link it to prior vandalism incidents.

April 21, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Armed-and-Dangerous Felony Arrest
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle associated with an armed-and-dangerous suspect. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a coordinated high-risk stop. The suspect was arrested for assault with a firearm and additional local warrants.

April 14, 2025 — Flock Identifies Truck Following $50,000 Commercial Burglary
Approximately $50,000 in collectibles were stolen during a commercial burglary. Flock helped investigators locate the suspect truck, with stolen property reportedly visible in the truck bed. The same vehicle was also linked to another burglary, providing an additional investigative lead. Two suspects were arrested after detectives followed up on the Flock information.

March 29, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert identified a recently stolen vehicle. An officer located a suspect exiting the vehicle and took the suspect into custody. Charges included vehicle theft and multiple outstanding local warrants.

March 15, 2025 — Flock Captures Vandalism and Suspect Vehicle
Witnesses reported several suspects vandalizing a wall. Flock and other city cameras captured the incident and suspect vehicle, providing investigators with video evidence for follow-up.

March 11, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Two Arrests
A Flock alert identified a stolen GMC Sierra. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a high-risk stop, resulting in two arrests. Charges included grand theft, vehicle theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 2, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit and Vehicle Recovery
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and a short pursuit began before being terminated because of speed. Officers later recovered the stolen vehicle abandoned and returned it to its owner.

February 28, 2025 — Flock Alert Assists Carjacking Investigation
A Flock alert identified a confirmed stolen vehicle connected to another agency. Officers located it and conducted a felony stop. Investigation determined that the driver was the registered owner and that the vehicle had previously been used in a carjacking. The investigating agency assumed the case, and no charges were listed for the driver.

February 15, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Arrest
A Flock alert helped officers locate a stolen vehicle. The driver resisted arrest, and two officers sustained minor injuries before the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect admitted stealing the vehicle and was charged with grand theft, resisting/obstructing, and resisting an executive officer.

January 2025 — Flock Leads to Arrest in Burglary Series
Three residential burglaries occurred in the month of January. Detectives located a suspect vehicle on Flock. Further investigation linked the vehicle to several more burglaries in surrounding agencies. The suspect vehicle was ultimately stopped by an outside agency and three suspects were arrested. They pleaded guilty to eight counts of residential burglary.

January 19, 2025 — Flock Captures Robbery Suspect Vehicle
Following a robbery in which a suspect stole cigarettes and cash, Flock captured the suspect vehicle shortly after the crime. Although the license plate was unreadable, the camera information provided investigators with vehicle evidence for follow-up.

January 18, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Stolen Vehicle Pursuit
A Flock alert identified a stolen Infiniti. Officers located the vehicle, but the driver fled, beginning a pursuit that was terminated because of high speeds and congested traffic.

January 18, 2025 — Flock Helps Recover Stolen Vehicle
A stolen vehicle was captured multiple times by Flock over a two-day period. After another camera detection, officers searched the area and subsequently located the vehicle parked and unoccupied. The stolen vehicle was recovered and impounded.

January 13, 2025 — Flock Alert Leads to Firearm and Identity-Theft Arrest
A Flock alert identified a BMW reported stolen. Officers located the occupied vehicle, and a search recovered a 9mm handgun, loaded magazine, and identification belonging to other individuals. Investigation determined that the suspect, a convicted felon, had recovered the previously reported stolen vehicle without clearing the report. The arrest included charges for felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, identity-theft-related possession, and prohibited ammunition possession.

December 10, 2024 — Flock Assists in Arrests for Stolen Vehicle
Officers located a stolen vehicle and safely stopped it, taking both the driver and passenger into custody without incident. The driver was arrested for narcotics possession and driving the stolen vehicle. The passenger was arrested for narcotics paraphernalia and outstanding warrants.

December 9, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Four Arrests
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle, which officers later located parked outside a business. Officers established a perimeter and used real-time information from the business to identify four suspects associated with the vehicle. The investigation indicated the suspects may have been stripping the vehicle and attempting to pawn parts. The suspects were arrested for vehicle theft, narcotics and local warrants.

December 8, 2024 — Flock Leads to Arrest of Shooting Suspect
Detectives investigating a shooting used Flock and additional investigative technology to track involved suspects to another city. Surveillance was established, three involved parties were detained during a high-risk traffic stop, and search warrants were served. Investigators recovered a semiautomatic handgun, ammunition, and spent casings and arrested two.

December 2, 2024 — Flock Alert Results in Two Arrests for Stolen Vehicle.
A vehicle reported stolen earlier in the day generated multiple Flock alerts. Officers eventually located the vehicle, coordinated additional resources, and safely stopped it. The driver and passenger were arrested without incident. Charges included vehicle theft and narcotics possession.

November 20, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Narcotics for Sales Arrest
A Flock alert led officers to a stolen vehicle that had been left unoccupied while its occupants entered a hotel. When the suspected driver later emerged, officers detained and arrested the suspect. A search recovered several quantities of individually packaged narcotics. Charges included possession for sale and transportation of narcotic and vehicle theft.

November 17, 2024 — Flock Alert Results in Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
A stolen vehicle captured by Flock was located and followed until enough officers were available to conduct a safe stop. The driver initially failed to comply and appeared ready to flee but was ultimately taken into custody without further incident. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

November 16, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
Officers received a Flock notification for a reported stolen vehicle and located it parked with the driver still inside. As assisting officers arrived, the driver exited and was taken into custody without incident.

November 10, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Alert Leads to Three Arrests
Dispatch provided updated information on a stolen vehicle previously identified through Flock. Officers later observed the vehicle crash, after which the driver fled. Three juveniles remaining in the vehicle were taken into custody and booked for stolen vehicle possession. One also had a no-bail weapons warrant, while another had a carjacking warrant.

A Flock hit identified a stolen vehicle, which officers followed while coordinating additional units and assistance from CHP. A felony stop was conducted, and the sole occupant was arrested without incident.

October 22, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest of Homicide Suspect in Five Hours
Officers responded to a male victim who was shot in the abdomen and died. Detectives were able to identify a suspect vehicle. An alert was placed into Flock. LASD received our Flock alert and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The suspect was located inside of the vehicle and arrested for murder.

Officers located a stolen vehicle identified through Flock. The driver pulled into a parking area and was taken into custody without incident.

A Flock hit alerted officers to a stolen vehicle, with subsequent Flock cameras providing updated travel information. Officers followed the vehicle while coordinating with another police agency, and the vehicle eventually yielded. The sole occupant was arrested for grand theft auto.

A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle wanted by another police agency. Officers located the parked vehicle, obtained a photograph of the wanted suspect, established surveillance, and safely detained the suspect when identified. The originating agency responded to continue the investigation.

Officers located a stolen vehicle identified through Flock and maintained surveillance while waiting for the driver to return. The suspect return to the vehicle and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Officers responded to a Flock stolen-vehicle notification, located the vehicle, and safely stopped it. The driver was arrested without incident for possession of a stolen vehicle.

A Flock notification identified an embezzled vehicle. Officers located and followed the vehicle before conducting a stop. The driver was arrested and found in possession of fentanyl.

A Flock stolen-vehicle alert led officers to the vehicle. When officers arrived, the suspect ran from the vehicle, resulting in foot pursuit. Officers responded to a Flock stolen-vehicle notification and located the vehicle. During the high-risk stop, the suspect repeatedly ignored commands, resulting in a brief standoff before eventually complying. Charges listed were possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting/obstructing arrest and narcotics possession.

Officers located a stolen vehicle associated with a Flock alert and coordinated additional units before conducting a high-risk stop. The vehicle yielded, and the driver was taken into custody without incident.

September 1, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Pursuit
A Flock hit alerted officers to a stolen vehicle. When officers attempted to contact the occupants, they returned to the vehicle and fled, initiating a vehicle pursuit. Officers terminated the pursuit after the suspect vehicle blacked out its lights and continued at a very high rate of speed.

A vehicle that had fled from another agency generated a Flock hit. The suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers established containment, located the suspect hiding nearby, and took the suspect into custody. 

August 9, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Pursuit
A Flock alert identified a confirmed carjacked vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, followed it until additional units arrived, and attempted a traffic stop. The driver failed to yield and drove evasively, resulting in a pursuit. The pursuit was ultimately terminated for safety reasons.

August 8, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
A Flock hit led officers to a stolen vehicle. After sufficient units arrived, officers conducted a high-risk stop and arrested the sole occupant. Charges included possession of a stolen vehicle, narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia.

Officers located a stolen vehicle following a Flock hit. A pursuit began but was discontinued when an air unit assumed surveillance. The occupants later abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers re-engaged and captured all occupants. The driver was charged with the evading and possession of a stolen vehicle.

July 10, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Robbery Arrest
A vehicle associated with a knife-point robbery generated a Flock alert. Detectives located and followed the vehicle until marked units arrived for a felony stop. Two suspects matching the robbery descriptions were arrested for robbery.

July 8, 2024 — Flock Embezzled Vehicle Alert Leads to Arrest
Following a Flock alert, officers located an embezzled vehicle and coordinated a high-risk stop with additional units and air support. The occupants were safely detained, and one suspect was arrested.

July 8, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Grand Theft Arrest
Flock information was associated with a vehicle later encountered during a theft investigation. Officers stopped the vehicle as it left a business and detained the driver. Investigation showed a fence had been cut to gain access to stored metal, and the stolen property found in the vehicle was returned to the victim.

A Flock hit identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located and followed it until sufficient resources were available for a high-risk stop. The sole occupant was arrested for vehicle theft and an additional no-bail warrant.

A Flock hit identified an embezzled vehicle. Officers followed it and conducted a high-risk stop. The driver was arrested without further incident for possession of an embezzled vehicle.

June 30, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Leads to Fraud and Narcotics Arrest
After an earlier Flock stolen-vehicle alert, an officer later spotted the vehicle and conducted a high-risk stop. Both occupants were arrested. A search recovered the vehicle key fob, narcotics, a credit-card skimming device, credit cards, and approximately $1,000 cash. Charges included grand theft auto, narcotics possession and possession of fraudulent credit cards.

June 29, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Alert Leads to Arrest
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, coordinated a high-risk stop, and safely detained a suspect who admitted driving it. The suspect was arrested for Grand Theft Auto.

June 16, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Felony Arrest
A Flock hit identified a felony vehicle wanted for Felony Assault by an outside agency. Officers located and followed the vehicle until additional units arrived, then conducted a high-risk traffic stop. Two occupants were detained and transferred, along with the vehicle, to the investigating agency.

June 12, 2024 — Flock Helps Solve Fatal Hit-and-Run 
Investigators used Flock, witness information, and video evidence to identify a vehicle involved in an earlier fatal hit-and-run. The vehicle was recovered and held as evidence, and additional evidence linked the suspected driver to the collision scene. During the investigation the suspect surrendered and was arrested.

June 2, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Gun Recovery
A Flock hit led officers to a stolen vehicle. An attempted stop developed into a short pursuit, during which an object was thrown from the vehicle. Officers terminated the pursuit after losing sight of the vehicle; it was later found crashed and abandoned. A passenger was detained, and officers recovered a handgun from the area where the object had been thrown.

May 31, 2024 — Flock Identifies Auto Burglary Suspect Vehicle
Flock identified a stolen vehicle that was also believed to have been used in several auto burglaries. Officers attempted a traffic stop, resulting in a pursuit. The suspect vehicle collided with another vehicle, and the driver fled on foot before being captured. The passenger remained at the vehicle. Two suspects were arrested, and detectives responded to investigate the related burglaries.

May 25, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Residential Burglary
A Flock alert identified a felony vehicle wanted in connection with a residential burglary and criminal threats investigation by an outside agency. Officers located the vehicle and safely detained the wanted driver. The originating agency responded and assumed custody of the suspect and vehicle.

May 24, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Alert Leads to Arrest
Officers located a stolen vehicle following a Flock alert. When an officer attempted to stop it the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Minutes later, the stolen vehicle was found after a crash. The driver was arrested for hit and run and possessing the stolen vehicle.

Officers located a vehicle associated with Flock and established containment while the suspect was briefly away from it. When the suspect returned, officers made contact and took the suspect into custody without incident.

April 30, 2024 — Flock Alert Assists Outside Agency in Investigation
Officers assisted another police agency after it stopped a vehicle associated with a Flock alert that had been entered into the system by local detectives. The incident was handled in coordination with the outside agency.

April 24, 2024- Flock Identifies Vehicle Used in Home Invasion
Officers responded to a home invasion robbery. Three suspects entered a residence, held the homeowner at gunpoint, then pistol-whipped him and stole cash and jewelry. Detectives used Flock to identify the suspect vehicles. After further investigation, four suspects were arrested.

April 15, 2024 — Flock Alert Results in Stolen Trailer Recovery
A Flock hit identified a stolen dump trailer being towed by another vehicle. An officer followed while waiting for additional units, but two suspects abandoned the moving vehicle and fled on foot before a stop could be made. The suspects were not located, but the stolen trailer was recovered and returned to the owner.

April 11, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Robbery Arrest
A Flock alert identified an armed-and-dangerous stolen vehicle connected to a prior robbery. When officers attempted a stop, the vehicle fled, beginning a 22-minute pursuit involving air support and CHP. Four suspects eventually fled from the vehicle and all four were taken into custody for evading and robbery.

April 7, 2024 — Flock Robbery Suspect Vehicle Tracking
Following a robbery and assault, officers obtained the suspect vehicle’s license plate. Flock cameras identified the vehicle’s subsequent direction of travel, and the information was forwarded to the appropriate neighboring agency. After a follow up investigation by detectives, one suspect was arrested for robbery, and a warrant arrest was issued for the second suspect.

April 5, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest and Firearm Recovery
A felony vehicle connected to a shooting generated a Flock alert near the scene of a traffic collision. Officers conducted a traffic stop, impounded the vehicle as evidence, recovered a firearm, and arrested the driver.

After a newly stolen vehicle was lost from sight, Flock identified its direction of travel. Officers later located it and conducted a high-risk stop. The suspect was arrested without incident for possessing the stolen vehicle and outstanding warrants.

A stolen vehicle identified by Flock was stopped in heavy traffic. The driver attempted to abandon the vehicle and leave the area, but officers located the suspect and safely took the suspect into custody for Grand Theft Auto.

March 15, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle and Narcotics
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle, which officers later found parked. A high-risk extraction resulted in the passenger being detained, while video showed the driver had already left. The passenger was arrested after officers found a switchblade. Charges included possession of a stolen vehicle, narcotics, and illegal switchblade.

March 5, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle Leads to Arrest for Theft
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle connected to a theft. Officers located the vehicle after the occupants walked away. The primary suspect fled through an apartment complex, jumped a wall, and entered a residence. A containment was established and the suspect ultimately surrendered. A second suspect was also detained. Charges included possession of a stolen vehicle, trespassing and theft.

March 1, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
Officers responded to a Flock stolen-vehicle hit, located the vehicle, and detained it. The sole occupant was arrested without incident, and the recovered vehicle was returned to its owner.

February 27, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Kidnapping Arrest
A Flock alert led officers to a vehicle wanted by another agency in connection with a kidnapping investigation. A high-risk stop was conducted, and the sole occupant was detained without incident. The originating agency responded and assumed custody of the driver and vehicle.

February 24, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Kidnapping and Domestic Violence
After an alleged domestic violence incident escalated into robbery, kidnapping, threats, and a carjacking, the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. Hours later, Flock detected the carjacked vehicle. Officers located it, conducted a high-risk stop, and arrested the driver for kidnapping and domestic violence.

February 15, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
A Flock alert identified a stolen vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle until multiple units were available, conducted a high-risk stop, and arrested the sole occupant without incident for possessing the stolen vehicle.

February 14, 2024 — Flock Identifies Suspect in Hit and Run
A vehicle connected to a serious injury hit-and-run had been entered into Flock and generated an alert. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained the driver, who was not the collision suspect but was arrested on multiple warrants. Investigators later developed information identifying the actual hit-and-run suspect, established surveillance, and made an additional arrest.

February 9, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle and Hit and Run
Officers investigating a hit-and-run learned the suspect vehicle was also confirmed stolen. The vehicle was located and the driver was taken into custody. A field identification linked the driver to the hit-and-run, and the suspect also had a warrant for auto theft.

February 8, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
A Flock hit identified a stolen pickup. Officers located and followed the vehicle until additional resources arrived, then conducted a high-risk traffic stop. Three occupants were detained. The driver was arrested for auto theft, and a passenger was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

A Flock hit alerted officers to a stolen vehicle. Officers followed it across multiple freeways while coordinating additional units and CHP assistance. A traffic stop was conducted, both occupants were detained, and the driver was arrested for possessing the stolen vehicle.

Officers located a stolen vehicle that had generated a Flock alert earlier in the day. A high-risk stop was conducted, and the driver was arrested for vehicle theft. A passenger was detained during the investigation and later released.

January 24, 2024 — Flock GTA / Vehicle Barricade / SWAT Response / Arrest
Officers located a stolen vehicle identified through Flock and attempted a felony stop, but the sole occupant refused to exit. SWAT personnel, specialized equipment, drones, and negotiators responded. After prolonged noncompliance, officers used a distraction device and a CS gas deployment, prompting the suspect to exit. The suspect was then safely taken into custody.

January 23, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle and Narcotics
A Flock hit identified a stolen vehicle. Officers followed it until sufficient personnel were available for a high-risk stop and arrested the sole occupant. Officers subsequently discovered methamphetamine concealed on the suspect.

January 18, 2024 — Flock Stolen Vehicle / Multiple Pursuits / Arrest
Officers located a stolen vehicle previously identified by Flock and attempted a high-risk stop. The driver initially stepped out, then returned to the vehicle and drove away. A short pursuit was terminated because of reckless driving while an air unit continued surveillance. Another agency later attempted a second stop, resulting in another pursuit before the vehicle was cornered and the driver taken into custody. The outside agency retained custody of both occupants.

January 18, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Arrest for Stolen Vehicle
A Flock stolen-vehicle alert led officers to the vehicle. Officers followed it while awaiting additional units, and the vehicle ultimately yielded. Two juvenile suspects were arrested without incident.

January 14, 2024 — Flock Alert Leads to Burglary Arrest
Three suspects stole more than $8,000 in merchandise and fled in a getaway vehicle. Officers obtained the plate and used Flock to track the vehicle as it traveled into another jurisdiction. The neighboring agency was alerted and located the suspects while they were allegedly committing another burglary. The suspects were arrested.

Officers located a stolen rental vehicle following a Flock alert and safely stopped it. Three occupants were detained. One passenger had a no-bail warrant. The driver was arrested for vehicle theft.
