transfers from a variety of agencies, our family

Lateral applicants receive additional starting
benefits to allow for a smooth transition from
your previous law enforcement employer:
- Written and
physical aptitude test will be waived
- Full-time law
enforcement service credit towards vacation
accrual seniority
- Up to 40 hours
of sick time from your previous law
enforcement employer
- Up to 40 hours
of vacation time from your previous law
enforcement employer
- 40 hours of
special leave to be used throughout your
probationary period
